Built from real implementations. Targets the Web SDK (alloy.js) on Adobe Experience Platform; your report suite, classifications, marketing channels, and segments stay server-side.
Why I built this guide

The migration from AppMeasurement to the Web SDK is not a script swap; it is a shift in where the work happens, off the visitor's browser and onto Adobe's Edge. The official documentation covers each piece, but it is scattered across dozens of pages with no opinion about what to do first or which mistakes will cost you weeks.

This guide is the reference I wish I had on my first migration. It is built from real implementations, not theory, and it assumes you already know Adobe Analytics and respects your time. The aim is not to explain the basics; it is to give you the architectural decisions, the order to make them in, and the gotchas that do not surface until production.

If it helps you migrate with confidence, sidestep the visitor cliff, and ship without surprises, then it has done its job.
